Everything you asked for is built.
House rules first, the concert schedules, the group's comments and the meeting are done and live on the server and on iPhones. Android is built and installed on your Honor; Google Play needs the academy's own developer account. Two things were broken and are fixed.
Read in full: every ERP 2 message since 14 Sep, the one voice note WhatsApp still had, the 15 minute meeting recording on the Honor, the academy's concert sheet, their house rules PDF and the families form. Three old voice notes could not be opened (below).
Every parent opening the app sees the academy's own "House Rules and Guidelines" (their PDF, word for word) and has to read to the end and tap I agree to get in. Owners and Finance can change the text in Academy โ House rules; a new version asks everyone again. The teachers' rules are loaded too, as a draft: one tap publishes them for teachers.
The academy's CJF / Halloween concert sheet is read into the app every 3 hours, so they keep working in their sheet and the mix and match stays theirs. Staff: Academy โ Concert sheet, with rehearsals by day and place and each song's line-up, the sign-ups (approved, band or backing track, fees, payment) and who isn't placed in a band yet. Families: their child's concerts and rehearsal times under Concerts.
131 children parents entered in the form, that the timetables don't name, can now be found in "My child already goes here" (688 findable, up from 557). On each claim the front desk sees the form's parent name, number and email, and whether they match the account asking. Nothing links without the desk.
A country picker on every phone number (the parent abroad, 14 Oct). A teacher dropdown per branch and instrument, and a "double lesson" tick (Marwa, 13 Oct). Live on the same link; no answers touched.
It was dead from Monday 26 Oct 16:04 (Chrome signed out of both accounts) while its notice blamed the sheets. It's been back since 23:59 last night and caught up the two days. Now it names the exact account that's out and the one step to fix it, and warns you when only one account is left (that's the notice on your Mac). It also stopped skipping three District 5 columns (22 lesson times) after the academy started writing "+" next to some teachers' names.

Screens are from the iPhone simulator. The rules check was the real thing: a test parent signed in against the test server, read to the end, tapped I agree, landed on Home, and the server recorded it.
No app update needed for anything on the server.
Two updates went out: the house rules and concerts at 00:40, then the desk's families form details and the Android fixes at 08:16. Phones pick them up the next time they open the app (sometimes the second time). No App Store review needed.
The first three Android builds froze on about half of cold starts. The cause was a known deadlock in a navigation library, set off by pull to refresh. With pull to refresh switched off on Android only, 13 of 13 cold starts open fine. Also fixed for Android: missing tab icons, fields hidden under the keyboard, a dialog with no way out. Signed out screens were checked on the phone; you sign in yourself to try the rest. Google Play needs the academy's own developer account first (below).
Only needed for the camera permission wording (it still mentions only the QR code). Ready when you say go.
Already there since 10 Oct ("Add another lesson for this child"). Checked live.
- Adult learner on the parent's number: the app already books for the account holder and for each child. Nothing to change.
- Teacher dropdown: done on the form.
- Double classes in one go: done on the form.
- Drop in and extra classes: needs a price from the academy (question below).
- Progress tracking: already in the app (Progress tab, the teachers' evaluations).
Fixed with the country picker.
What they asked for: sign up for a concert, approve in or out or backing track, pay up front, the art committee does the mix and match, everyone sees the schedule. The app already had sign-up, approval and payment for concerts; tonight it got their real season and schedules.
They aren't on the Mac and WhatsApp's servers have expired them. One tap in WhatsApp gets them back (below).
It dropped out on 26 Oct. It's the sync's backup reader; without it the next time contact@ signs out, the timetables stop again.
30 Sep, 7 Oct and 10 Oct. WhatsApp fetches them again from your phone. Then tell me "voice notes" and I'll transcribe and act.
Opened by the academy in its own name: organisation (needs a D-U-N-S number, no waiting test) or personal (12 testers for 14 days before it can go live). 25 USD once. Plus a free Firebase project for Android notifications. Full steps are written up in the project.
Allowed for any student? At what price for one lesson?
Their house rules say freezing only in July, August and 20 Dec to 7 Jan. The app lets families freeze any time (20% in the low season, 50% otherwise), as they answered on 27 Sep. Which is right? They can edit the rules text in the app.
Sign in with Apple does not exist on Android, and emails don't go out yet, so a family that signed up with Apple on an iPhone can't get into the Android app until email is set up (or Google sign in is added).
The East weekly rehearsals have no day written. The CJF general rehearsal East says "Thursday 6/11", but 6 Nov is a Friday.
Worker 2528071d (commit 7d26f03). Migrations 0043 house rules, 0044 concert sheet, 0045 families form. Restore points 00002419-00000000-00005112-cf2287dcb1728afad9015b084230e67c (before 0043) and 0000241c-00000000-00005112-90207e0e6b367e2ec52dfb095bca839f (before 0045).
Group 52c42346 (iPhone, 00:40) then fe9d8eb9 (iPhone and Android, 08:16). Roll back by re-publishing 52c42346, then 9de0648d.
New: house rules 41 of 41, concert sheet 24 of 24, families form 15 of 15. Existing: claims 101 of 101, security 112 of 112, and the end to end smoke test (sign up, book, pay through Paymob, check in) 14 of 14, after repairing the test itself. All on the test server, which only ever holds placeholder names.
No stuck lessons or orphan holds. No money stuck: the 6 "pending" payments are old tests and one book checkout on 14 Oct that never reached Paymob's page, so nothing was charged. Egypt's clocks go back tonight at midnight; the server's times already follow it. Emails still don't go out until the bandmakers.net email setup (the GoDaddy login).
